March 28 2011`

This past Saturday marked 7 weeks....that is what we are measuring at...seems each time we go for a visit it pushes back a day! Anyhoo....things looked great when we were in for our appointment on March 24...we heard that sweet heart beat and it is still amazing to this day! I worry every day...not sure why, just want things to go smoothly....and I am such a worrier!!!

I am still feeling pretty naeseaous....most of the time and had some pretty nasty heartburn on Friday night...blah!! They did decrease my meds on Friday night...can I just saw woohoo!!!! No more patches, no more estradiol vaginally and PIO shots have moved to every 3 days! Good thing because my bum needs a break! My pants are having a hard time fitting over them! NO FUN!!!

Other than that we are moving along....next appointment is with Dr Robin on April 5!!!

March 24 2011

Quick update...things have been going well...

March 17 2011 We had a doctor appt to check the progress on the little bean and we were relived to see a little flashing light!! It took a while to find because the little one was tucked underneath...makes it difficult to get the ultrasound in just the right location! They have changed my due date to November 11, 2011!!

March 17....we left that evening and headed to NC to meet Madison Wagoner! What a freaking cutie!!! Peyton absolutely loved her...and wanted to hold her and feed her the whole time!

March 24...we are going back into tomorrow to have another ultrasound and hoping to hear the heartbeat this go round! We shall see!

Meds update...1 thyroid, 2 metformin, 1 baby aspirin, 3 estrace tablets (2 by mouth 1 vaginally), 3 prometrium tablets (vaginally), 1 vitamin, 3 penicillin for a UTI...those end tomorrow...praise the lord!! Estrogen patches every other day and Progesterone in Oil every other day~ As for the way we are feeling...extremely tired and ready to be done with sooooo much medicine! Very nauseous the whole pregnancy! No sickness yet, just blah!!! Goldfish crackers are my friend!

The news

Peyton and I shared our day at the mall and came home to have a quick nap before heading back to the Pavilion where Kev was at the Home and Garden Show! I was so nervous about the phone ringing and me not being with him I could hardly manage!

Peyton had a fairly short nap...which was a good thing in our case! We hopped in the car at 4 stopped at Sonic to get a drink for us and Daddy and then headed to the Pavilion! We made it there at 4:45! We had plenty of time to spare...Kev made me very nervous because he had been trying to call me and my phone was not working!!! AHHHH!!!

I couldn't believe that I had the potential of missing one of the most important phone calls of our lives! So Peyton and I walk around the show tasting and looking at all the booths! Praying my phone would work!! I could hardly stand the anticipation of the call!!

We went back to where Kev's booth was and simply stood there and waited!!!

Finally at 5:45 the phone rings (this is what time I got the call with Peyton as well)! It was Deana! One of our favorite nurses...she began by asking me if I had a liver test done and lad-di-da! Honestly I can barely remember our entire conversation...I know I just said Deana I have to know...AMY You are PREGNANT!!!! I smiled from ear to ear and Kev bent down and told Peyton he was going to be a BIG BROTHER!!! So sweet!!

We laughed and let out a HUGE sigh of relief! Such an awesome way for our 2nd FET cycle to go!!!

March 4 2011

What is done is done!!! I was on bed rest for 24 hours, I have been faithful with medication and have not done much the past two weeks! And the house totally looks that way!

But, tonight is the night! Will we go to bed happy or sad??? Not too many people know what we have been going through the past two weeks, but there are a few! Our lips have been sealed and they will open tonight and this weekend for sure!!!

I went in for my pregnancy test this morning at 9:30 am!!! I have done all I can do!!! Now we wait...but not too patiently!

Just for remembering purposes...After we dropped Daddy off at his Home and Garden Show, Peyton and I went to The New Hope Center for labs and then to the mall! We walked around and shopped, played hard, bought a Hamm (Dr Evil Porkchop), shopped more and ended with a diet coke and some ice cream from McDonald's!!! What a way to spend the day with my favorite little guy!
